Joy Division: Love Will Tear Us Apart
‘El amor nos separará’ … Es emocionante recuperar el “Love Will Tear Us Apart”, tema en desuso hasta que llega la película “24 hours party people” que tanto he disfrutado. Una melodía de las que pueden monopolizar el hueco del cráneo durante una semana sin que te importe lo más mínimo.
Así me ocurrió, tal vez porque la canción formaba parte de un ángulo perdido del pasado que yo no identificaba como propio.
“Love will tear us apart” se edita como single el 10 de abril de 1980 y muy pronto se convertiría en el definitivo testamento de una banda, Joy Division y de un hombre, Ian Curtis, símbolo y mártir de una generación.
El sonido repetitivo del sintetizador cala a fondo y permanece cosquilleando. La voz profunda de Ian Curtis y su mensaje desolador harán el resto. Esta es la letra sombría de una canción de amor desgarradora.

Bueno pablo, te envío una de esas canciones que a buen seguro sabrás apreciar. Esta canción, fue compuesta por el genial y combativo grupo de música escocés “The WaterBoys” y como no podía ser menos es una cruda y descarnada critica a la guerra..
Esta canción habla de un soldado ruso que parte a luchar al frente contra los Alemanes en la primavera de 1943. Después de pasar múltiples penalidades defendiendo a la “madre Rusia” se encuentra con que de vuelta a su país y tras venir triunfante de Berlín y quemar el Reichstag es deportado junto con otros cien mil soldados rusos a campos de concertación en Siberia. El “camarada” Stalin decide que han tenido demasiado contacto con los soldados occidentales a su entrada en Berlín y por lo tanto están “contaminados” con ideas anti-stalinistas.

Encontre tu página gracias a The La´s y ” There she goes”; ta bueno lo que escribiste ahi. Mi aporte es que a “Love will Tears us Apart” la podes encontrar en otra pelicula, en Donnie Darko y creo que es un rescate anterior a 24 hours party people.
